Pastor - Allen Dearing

Allen has been a United Methodist Pastor in Mississippi for 30 years now.  He has been at our church since June 2005.  He loves preaching and teaching.  His major empahsis in teaching is how the history, culture, and geography of the Bible effects the way we should understand it.  He loves to travel and has been in 23 countries on vacation and mission trips (5 times to Israel).  He also has a passion for missions and tries to go on a trip somewhere in the world every year.  You will find him open to listening and a caring person about your concerns and needs.  Allen is married to Debra and they have no children of their own, but have hosted 12 highschool exchange students from around the world for a year each.

Youth Director - Joyce Farmer

Joyce is the last person to join our staff, but she has been a part of our church for many years.  She has headed up our Missions Committee for two years now and is leading our trip to Costa Rica.  She looks forward to working with our Youth and also getting them envolved in ministry and missions.  We are glad to have here working with our youth.

 

 

  

Children's Director - Mrs. Kim Burkett

Kim is head of the Early Childhood Development Department at Southwest Community College.  She has extensive background working with youth and children at several churches.  She is married to Kieth Burkett and they have one daughter (Lana) and one on the way in February 2012.

Secretary - Mrs. Judy Boyd

Judy has worked as the Church secretary since May 2008 and she is the contact person for putting things on the calendar, in the bulletin and Link.  She is part time usually working Monday and Wednesday morning.  She is married to Aubrey Boyd and has a married son Darrell Boyd.

Choir Director - Mr. Danney Bullock

Danney has been the choir director for many years at the church and has a degree in music.  He has lead school music programs in the past and currently works with the Pike County Tax Accessor's Office.  He is married to Wanda.

Nursery Worker - Early Service - Mrs. Brenda Green

She has been working in our nursery since 2010.  She has much experience taking care of several Grand Kids

Nursery Worker - 11:00 Service - Mrs. Cindy May

She has been working in our nursery for more than 10 years and has helped raise most of the kids in the church
